Kerry and Christi's Wedding

Pan-American Hotel in Wildwood Crest, NJ

The wedding festivities began in two separate hotel rooms,
a bridal suite and a "pad" for the groomsmen.
With the guests of honor getting ready both at one location,
there is so much more time for the photographer to buzz from room to room.

The entire wedding day was a joyful celebration and never void of fun and happiness.
The bridal party was one of the funnest I have ever worked with,
completely compliant to play with all the image ideas that Christi and I
spent months talking about and planning for.

The Ceremony

My favorite part of this ceremony was hearing the thoughtful and touching vows that
Kerry and Christi had written to say to each other.

Bridal Portraits

Christi had dreamed of getting bridal portraits on the beach after the ceremony.
The weather did not cooperate with her dream.  My assistant and I had a quick idea.
We new that there was a penthouse in the hotel.  To our benefit, it was vacant, and the staff completely accommodated our request to use it with so much grace and patience.
It was the perfect place to photograph these portraits. The rain even stopped briefly for us to use this magnificent patio.  The view of the beach was so much better from up there.

The Reception

My favorite part of this wedding and actually wedding photography as a whole are the moments captured of the bride and groom AFTER the day is completely over.  No more nerves captivate the bride or groom and they just melt into each other's arms for romantic portraits. Sparklers are always a fun way to add "sparkle" to a wedding portrait.
